MIEF Presented New Opportunities for Business Partners 2018

On February 2, 2018, the MIEF Directorate presented new opportunities for business partners in 2018, at a breakfast meeting in Moscow. The meeting gathered representatives of more than 20 companies — the MIEF long-term strategic partners.

“For the MIEF, it’s important to set new standards and define trends in education. Over the years, with its strong expert pool, highly topical program and large exposition, the Fair has become one of the landmark events in the educational sector, attracting key participants of the educational process,” said Deputy Head of the MIEF 2018 Organizing Committee Veniamin Kaganov when opening the meeting.

Maxim Kazarnovsky, Director of Moscow International Education Fair, presented the Concept of the MIEF 2018, and told about the new partnership opportunities. They include: new digital formats of partner promotion, targeted PR support of innovations and research conducted by the exhibitors, and custom solutions for brand positioning within the Fair. Aleksandr Ezdov, Curator of the MIEF 2018, presented new opportunities for exhibitors’ expertise integration. In particular, he introduced the Educational Technology Test project that allows professional community to evaluate practical efficiency of exhibitors’ products and share their experience at one of the business sessions of the Fair. These new opportunities will raise the quality of partner companies’ introduction within the Fair on a brand new level.

In 2018, the MIEF is also planning to expand its regional audience. The MIEF regional expansion has become one of the indicative trends. It started in 2017 with the Ufa International Education Fair that gathered 8000 participants. This year, the MIEF is planning to organize 12 regional projects. One of them, the Baikal International Education Fair, is scheduled for November 22-24, 2018.

Present at the meeting were representatives of Lego Education, “Rossiyskiy Uchebnik” (Russian Textbook) Corporation, “Prosveshenie” (Enlightenment) Publishing House, Ekzamen Technolab, Polimedia, Arismo Engineering, Inenergy, ADCOM, “Didakticheskie Sistemy”, Institute of New Technologies,, “Nauchnye Razvlecheniya” (Scientific Entertainment), Moscow Architects Union, Bank VTB, Foundation of Technological Support for Education “Navigator of Educational Technologies”, Festo RF, Promethean.

Oksana Goncharova, GR Director at the MIEF, presented the Program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. This year, the Fair’s Program includes discussions of the Ministry’s Priority Projects: “Manpower for Cutting-Edge Technologies”, “Contemporary Digital Educational Environment in the Russian Federation”, “Universities as Centers of Innovation Development”, “Equal Opportunities for Education”, “Affordable Supplementary Education for Children”, “Development of Export Potential of Russian Education”, “Russian Digital School”, and the Government Project “School 2025”.

Soon the Directorate of the Fair will present the MIEF 2018 Program for the expert community in education. A separate meeting will be hosted for participants of the Higher Education cluster.
