THE RUSSIAN TEXTBOOK CORPORATION TO BE A STRATEGIC PARTNER OF THE MIEF-2018.
The Russian Textbook Corporation that includes major publishing houses such as DROFA-VENTANA-GRAF, Astrel, DROFA – NEW SCHOOL and digital education platform LECTA will be a strategic partner of the 5th Moscow International Education Fair. The “General Education” Cluster of the Program of the MIEF-2018 will feature a series of events for teachers.
“Thanks to our experience of strategic partnership with the management of the MIEF at the Ufa International Education Fair, we discovered that the Fair is a unique platform for exchanging experience between field-specific experts and teachers and updating the education agenda. We are currently working with almost a third of the country’s teachers on a personalized basis, which means that we must become a meaningful part of the major education event of the year – the Moscow International Education Fair,” says Alexandr Brychkin, CEO of the Russian Textbook Corporation about the cooperation.
This year the agenda of the General Education Cluster covers a wide range of issues united by a theme with a focus on the future: the Impact of artificial intelligence, virtual reality and digital education environment on the education of schoolchildren, the possibilities of choosing an individual learning plan, new ways of organizing school and classroom space, developing and changing previous learning models.
As part of the Cluster the Russian Textbook Corporation will prepare events aimed at the development of new competences of Russian teachers. In particular, the results of the study will be presented with details of the views held by Russian teachers on the development of 21-century skills by today’s schoolchildren and students, conducted by the Institute of Higher Education of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (NRU HSE) in partnership with the Russian Textbook Corporation and the Moscow City Pedagogical University.
Maxim Lozovsky, Deputy CEO of the Russian Textbook Corporation will moderate the panel discussion on the Specific Features of the Current Education Environment in Russia and Abroad.
In the words of Maxim Kazarnovsky, Director of the Moscow International Education Fair, This year the Fair will become a platform for research into the future of Russia’s education. A professional development of teachers is its essential component; no progress would be possible without it. I am confident that a series of events developed by the Fair’s management tasked with compiling the Program in partnership with the Russian Textbook Corporation will be interesting for the Fair’s participants and make a contribution to the packed and topical business agenda of the MIEF-2018.
The 5th Moscow International Education Fair is to be held between 18 and 21 April at the 75 Pavilion of the National Economy Achievements Exhibition.
