THE MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION FAIR – 2018 TO BE HELD UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE UNESCO
MOSCOW, 16 March – RIA Novosti. The Moscow International Education Fair (MIEF) will be held this year under the auspices of the UNESCO, as reported by the press-service of the Fair to RIA Novosti.
The Moscow International Education Fair- 2018 will be held under the auspices of the UNESCO, according the Fair’s press service, which stated that this decision was taken by the organisations’ Director-General Audrey Azoulay.
“In recent years the Moscow Education Fair has become one of the key international platforms discussing priority questions of humanitarian cooperation and trends in the development of education. That is why it is not accidental that for the second year in a row this forum will be held under the auspices of the UNESCO”, said Olga Golodets, Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
The Moscow International Education Fair is to be held between 18 and 21 April at the National Economy Achievements Exhibition. In 2017 the MIEF was held under the UNESCO patronage for the first time: since 2017 the Fair has made a formal contribution to the fulfilment of the strategic goals of the UNESCO programs.
Leading Russian and international education and research organisations, representatives of federal and regional ministries and departments take part in the work of the MIEF.
